Demo- North Main Street 6

The light at the end of the street
ricochets down the curb. The
red-yellow-green combination of
the buildings on the left is echoed,
(albeit in more subdued tones),  in
the umbrellas and store-fronts on
the right.

Finally - a word about windows!
In street scenes, windows provide
a wonderful opportunity to
emphasize lines of perspective and
draw the eye into the scene. Too
often however, they can look like
black tombstones lined up in a
cemetery. Look for reflections,
shades, mullions - anything to
break up the dark rectangle. And
in the distance, make sure they are
afforded a light touch. Nothing
will ruin your sense of perspective
quicker than a series of square
black holes popping out at you
from afar.
